Based on the philosophy that each student is an artist, this style allows students to choose their own favorite characters and create their own works of art in the typeface of their choice. Instead of copying a model written by the teacher, after learning how to write dots and lines, the teacher will help you write letters with your own sense of style. The teacher is able to work with all types of typefaces, so you can challenge yourself to create a work of art until you are satisfied with it, while receiving accurate advice. The finished work can be taken home as a hanging scroll, which will be a good memory of your trip and can be displayed in your own home or given to others as a souvenir.
The teacher is in charge of Japanese language and calligraphy at the university's Japanese Language and Culture Department for International Students, and is able to provide smooth and appropriate instruction to foreign students.

"Along Route 246, there is a glass-walled building on the first floor near a Lawson, and inside, calligraphy works are displayed. A sign that says 'Life Style Produce' is posted."
