History Daisho Temple was established in 1573 in Nihonbashi Bakurocho. It was relocated to Nishi-Asakusa after being destroyed by a fire in 1657. In 1923, the temple was once again destroyed by the Great Kanto Earthquake and subsequently moved to its current location in Kita Ward, Nishigahara.
