With a long history of Drinking/Eating area, there are so many nice restaurants all around the station. Quality of food is pretty high but its price is not much lower than other area of Tokyo like Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ginza, etc.,.
If you are looking for local experience in Tokyo, "Kamata" is best option.

Meeting Point
If you can come to Haneda Airport, JR Shinagawa station or Tokyo station it would be the best.
However, as you are unfamiliar with Tokyo, I can pick you up at your hotel anywhere in Tokyo.
