What To Expect
Immerse yourself in Japanese culture by learning the magic of Edo Kiriko, a traditional Japanese craft that uses a diamond grinder to create geometric patterns on glass vessels.You will have to possibility to make your own faceted glasswork and experience traditional crafts that have been around since the Edo period. Professional instructors will teach you unique techniques: shaving with a diamond grinder is a dynamic yet delicate process that requires a great deal of force, and it is recommended for those who want to concentrate quietly. At the end of your experience, you could also bring home the piece of art you made yourself as a souvenir.

- Please refrain from participating if you cannot speak Japanese, as this is the experience with fire
- For your safety: the minimum age to participate is 7 years old, not wheelchair accessible, not recommended for those with low back pain, not recommended for pregnant women and people with heart disease or other serious diseases cannot participate
- You can take the finished product back with you
