Join this guided tour and watch a sumo practice in Tokyo!Learn from your guide the origin, history, rules, and fun of sumo. Sumo wrestlers are working extremely hard to be the strongest because their ranking directly affects their income. The morning practice starts before 7.00 am with stretching, warming up, and a routine of basic sumo movements. You´ll get into the stable around 8.00 am when they start practice matches. Be overwhelmed by the sounds as you watch wrestlers hit their bodies head-on again and again. Look at the huge mass of muscle that makes up their body and be surprised at how supple they are when they stretch to cool down, which may seem counterintuitive given their gigantic bodies. After the training, you usually have the opportunity to take photos with them.
