What To Expect
Enriched air, commonly referred to as nitrox or EANx, contains less nitrogen than regular air, which is ideal for diving in destinations like vibrant coral reefs or historic shipwrecks. This reduction in nitrogen allows divers to explore these attractions more deeply, enjoying longer dive times and shorter surface intervals between dives. Joining the Enriched Air Diver specialty provides valuable knowledge and unforgettable encounters with marine life, making it a popular choice among PADI® specialties.
