The visit to the museum starts with the sensory experience designed with one objective; providing the visitor with an immersive experience. As such, the carpets change density to guide footsteps and walking speed, lighting is dimmed in the separate booths for visual segregation, the piano sounding in the background but not directly, along with the physical layout and elements all set up for a visitor to lose their selves in the discovery of a new reality. In terms of interaction, an introduction to using the technology is briefly given before allowing the guest to independently explore the sites at their own pace. Each guests selects from 9 archeological sites including Ajloun Castle, Karak Castle, Azraq Castle, Amman citadel, Jerash northern theatre, Amra palace, Petra treasury, Um Al Jmal and Wadi Rum. Single and small group waiting areas are put in place with blending furniture that ensures the visitor’s experience amelioration independently.
