For security reasons sacks, bags or knapsacks are not allowed inside the Doges’ Palace: FREE DEPOSIT INSIDE. DOGES PALACE OPENING HOURS: From 09:00am to 6:00pm (last admission 5:00pm). . Comfortable shoes and appropriate clothes suggested. On certain dates, most travelers staying outside of Venice who are planning to visit for the day will be required to pay a €5 access fee.
