From the busy streets of Naples to the top of Italy’s most famous volcano, this half-day Vesuvius tour is an absolute must-see when visiting the region. Mount Vesuvius is known worldwide for its devastating eruption of 79 AD, which destroyed the Roman cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum, and still dominates the skyline to this day.
Following a late morning pickup from a centrally located meeting point, you will be whisked out of the city where you can enjoy a delicious lunch with the group before embarking on your mountain climb. Then, set off on the 500m hike to the summit.
