The uncontaminated nature, the relationship with my sweet dogs, the silence of the forest interrupted only by the singing of the birds. All this surrounds the discovery of one of the oldest and most secret professions in Tuscany: that of the truffle hunter. Due to its underground nature, its delicacy and its enormous economic value, the truffle has always fascinated man, playing a leading role in Tuscan culture and tables.
In order not to be seen and to arrive before the others, truffle hunters often go at night to look for truffles, and it is no coincidence that in the Corazzano valleys one night in 1954, the largest truffle in the world was found weighing 2520 g.
During the truffle hunting experience we will travel the paths where truffles naturally grow. All the secrets about the truffle, the plants that live in symbiosis with it and dog training will be explained; and if we are lucky we will also be able to find some nice truffles
