What To Expect
Starting from Catania, one our guide will lead you along a beautiful naturalistic path, while explaining the origins of our Volcano. At 2000 mt you will catch cable car to reach 2500 mt and then on a 4x4 vehicle you will go up 2950 mt. Alpine guides will show you the beautiful landscape of the base of the summit craters seeing at 1 km of distance the main crater.
- In winter time, in case the trails are covered by a thick layer of snow (usually from January to March), part of the excursion will take place using snowshoes and sticks. It could be possible that you will go on the snow cat vehicle with an extra cost of 30 euro per person.
Then, join with us the visit of a cave of volcanic origins with all the equipment provided by us.
At lunchtime enjoy an outdoor picnic made of Sicilian typical street food, water, red wine and typical sweets. During winter time, the outdoor picnic could be substituted by lunch in a Chalet with pizza, because of the low temperatures.

Specialized infant seats are available. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Suitable for all physical fitness levels. Minimum numbers apply. Guests need to wear trekking shoes and bring a jacket. We can provide trekking shoes and jackets for free at the moment of the booking if requested.. Children must be accompanied by an adult. May be operated by a multi-lingual guide. Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking. Vegetarian, vegan, celiac option is available, please advise at time of booking if required
