TORRE GUACETO NATURE RESERVE & SWIMMING

You'll travel to one of the prettiest and most unspoiled spots on the Adriatic coastline on this daytrip to the Torre Guaceto Nature Reserve. This area's not your typical woodland reserve - instead picture clay-coloured sands clear-as-glass waters and shrub-tufted dunes. The whole place gets its name from an ancient Aragonese defensive tower built on the headland which is still in one piece today. You'll have three hours here to explore the walking trails kick back on the sleepy seafront or look for birds in the wetlands. Remember to pack your swimming gear and a towel too - the minute you see the water you'll be desperate to go for a swim.
