A marvellous archaeological walk at the disover of the ancient cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum buried from the ashes of the volcano Vesuvius in 79 a. D.
With this tour you’ll discover the most of the towns’ highlights starting from Pompeii. The guide, a licensed expert Archaeologist, will meet you at the main entrance and will show you the best highlights like the Forum – the main square of the city – the main houses and buildings, and also the plaster casts – the dead bodies of the Pompeiians emerged by the excavations.
At the end of this visit, have a quick break then move to Herculaneum where your journey back to the past will start over again. Herculaneum is smaller than Pompeii but better preserved: you’ll see findings like wooden doors and exquisite paintings and you’ll visit the beach, where more than 300 skeletons were found!
