This 5-hour journey, led by an expert guide, offers a blend of history and nature as you trek the same path once traveled by ancient Romans. Starting from S. Maria delle Mole, easily accessible from Termini Station, you'll hike approximately 17 kilometers to Circus Maximus, passing through stunning Roman countryside, ancient villas, and historical landmarks.
This challenging hike requires good fitness and is ideal for those who appreciate nature, history, and an authentic Roman experience. The hike is mostly on the original Appian Way, with 90% dedicated to hiking and 10% to exploring points of interest.
