What To Expect

Rent your city bike, mountain bike, or electric bike and go back in time through the Appian Way Regional Park! Admire catacombs, sepulchers, and ruins along the way.The Tourist Information Office (where the bike rental is located) is open every day except January 1st and December 25th from 9.30am till dusk. You can pick up your bike from 9.30am and return it before closing time. Bikes are equipped with a security lock (for stops within the area) and a safety helmet (compulsory for minors; optional but also included for adults).At the starting point, you will be provided with maps, directions, and tips for organizing your tour. You will be provided with information on the opening hours of all archaeological sites, refreshment areas, and green areas. The bikes are available in different sizes, for adults: 28" or 26", for children and teenagers: 24". The best bikes are MTB (or E-MTB).You can choose between the following options available in the order box:

OPTION 1: a city bike
OPTION 2: an E-Bike (electric-assisted city-bike)
OPTION 3: a Mountain Bike
OPTION 4: an E-Mountain Bike (electric-assisted mountain bike)

For the park Mountain Bike or E-Mountain Bike are recommended
The office is open in the following times: WINTER TIME (end of October - end of March) from Monday to Friday (9.30am to 1.00pm / 2.00pm to 5.00pm). On weekends or holidays from 9.30am to 5.00pmSUMMER TIME (end of March, end of October) from Monday to Friday (9.30am to 1.00pm / 2.00pm to 6.00pm). On weekends or holidays from 9.30am to 7.00pm
