Afterwards, you will visit the heart of Rome where the ancient city was first developed: the Palatine Hill and the Roman Forums. After a walk through the archaeological remains you will take a short break to enjoy a typical Roman lunch in a characteristic restaurant, and then dedicate yourself to the Vatican Museums in the second part of the day. Your professional guide will take you on a journey to discover the most famous masterpieces housed in the many rooms of this museum. You will pass through the suggestive Gallery of the Geographical Maps, the Gallery of the Tapestries, the rooms of Raphael and many others. You can see works such as the statue of Lacoonte, the Sarcophagus of Santa Elena and the Torso del Belvedere. You will then reach the Sistine Chapel, where you can admire the famous frescoes by Michelangelo which contribute to the majestic atmosphere of the space.
