What To Expect
As you walk through Porta Libitinaria, the Gate of Death, you begin this small-group, unique tour in history's most notorious stadium. Stand on the arena stage of the Colosseum, where Gladiators fought to the death. Look up to the stands with a small group of fellow adventurers, and an expert guide to bring the whole place to life. This is as close to Ancient Rome as you can get!
After you’ve explored the ancient amphitheatre, you'll explore the luxurious Palatine Hill, where the emperor built his expansive palace, and the Ancient Roman Forum. Known as the empire's cultural, social and commercial heart, the Forum was a bustling hive of energy and is now a feast for explorers and history buffs alike.

Colosseum admission is free on the first Sunday of the month. Tours are discounted on these days.

Public transportation options are available nearby. Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Suitable for all physical fitness levels. Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.. Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
