Let yourself be enchanted by the wonders of Cardinal Scipione Borghese's princely 16th century villa, built to house his vast collection of antiquities, paintings and sculptures. The first floor, with its magnificent ceilings, houses the collection of statues. Ancient masterpieces and the first works of art by Gianlorenzo Bernini, the talented artist discovered by the Cardinal. The first floor, or "piano nobile" is dedicated to the paintings.
