A visit to this Cellar is a voyage in time and history: here is the essence of the sweet Tuscan earth, the wine, that they already took care of, worshiped and consumed in happiness and joy, with passion and tenacity our distant ancestors, the Etruscans, some centuries earlies than the Christian era. The new vinification centre for the winery you are going too visit is immersed among the vineyards and the woods in a sacred silent place where the usual stainless steel fermenting tanks have been combined with wooden vats typical of those used for traditional Tuscan wine production.A visit to the Fontecornino Cellar is an experience that has the capacity to transmit the passion for the grapes and for the wine. Montepulciano is well known for the great production of red wine, it’s "Nobile di Montepulciano" is one of the most appreciated Italian wines in Italy and abroad. The cellar you are going to visit is an immense cross vaulted arches, which make it resemble a Roman-Gothic Cathedral.
