Escape Rome for a day on this tour to the medieval town of Sermoneta and the Garden of Ninfa.
Enjoy a short train ride with the help of our hostess and reach Sermoneta, one of the best preserved medieval towns in Italy. You will learn more about its great history, art and culture by visiting the famous castle of Sermoneta with a local expert guide.
After the guided tour of the Castle of Sermoneta head to a typical local restaurant for lunch (set menu). Once finished the break, after a short drive by a minivan you will reach the Ninfa, which has been described as 'the most romantic garden in the world' and has provided inspiration for writers such as Virginia Woolf.
Walk through the garden to see the 1,300 plant species that grow among the remnants of a medieval village. At the end of the day you will return by train back to original departure point.
