The Colosseum is also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre is the largest amphitheater which was completed in AD 80. The colossal amphitheater is said to accommodate around 50000 spectators. It was used for gladiatorial contests, mock battles enactments, mythological dramas, animal hunts, and executions until the medieval ages.
The Colosseum as we see it today is broken from one side due to natural disasters, earthquakes, and also due to the visitors who carried the pieces as souvenirs.
Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Public transportation options are available nearby. Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. Suitable for all physical fitness levels.
