What To Expect
Embark on a captivating day trip from Rome to Pompeii, where history comes alive amidst ancient ruins preserved by Mount Vesuvius. Your adventure will begin with a convenient hotel pick-up in the Rome centre (if the proper pick-up options are chosen when booking, otherwise you will be left the instructions to reach the group to the meet-up point), before a scenic drive through the Roman countryside, offering glimpses of the Mediterranean and Mount Vesuvius.
Head to Pompeii and taste an authentic pizza lunch before skipping the lines at the Pompeii site for a guided tour exploring streets, temples, and homes frozen in time. Return to Rome in the evening, enriched by a day steeped in history.
