The Monteriggioni Castle dates back to the 13th Century. This medieval fortress was protection for the Republic of Siena from its neighboring enemies, especially Florence. As you walk through the gates you are transported back in time where the inhabitants enjoyed the simple pleasures of food and wine.

Our Cantinetta is located in the oldest building in town. We invite you to walk around and shop inside even if you are seated in the piazza.
