Discover the Cinque Terre on a day trip from Florence, exploring the picturesque villages of Vernazza, Monterosso, and Manarola.After driving through Tuscany to Liguria, stop first in Manarola. Take in panoramic views with spectacular photo opportunities, and explore narrow alleys and pastel squares. Optionally, sample renowned local wine at a cozy wine bar. Next, meet your tour escort at a pre-arranged time for a shared boat ride to Monterosso. While on board, marvel at the dramatic coastline framed against the hills. Stop in Monterosso and enjoy free time in this charming village. In winter, from mid-November to late March, there is no boat ride, and Monterosso is replaced with Corniglia, another picturesque village.Reach the village of Vernazza by coastal train. With a wide-open harbor, castle, and church, Vernazza invites you to stroll through the back streets or relax at an open-air restaurant for lunch. After a memorable day, return to Florence.
