The undoubted beauty of the hills of Valdorcia, famous all over the world for its rows of cypresses, remains in the dreams of every person who visits Tuscany.
The first stop will be Montalcino, you will discover the village and its medieval fortress, then you will leave for the Abbey of Sant' Antimo, a monastic place, where peace and boundless nature reign.
The first taste of typical products will be done around lunch time, in a beautiful Brunello winery.
Next will be the turn of the "little Rome", or Pienza, created at the work and pleasure of Pope Pius II Piccolomini, who in the fifteenth century wanted to make the native village a sort of Rome in miniature.
On the way back we will stop in the small village of Bagno Vignoni, unique in its kind, with its central square , or rather central tank, completely filled with hot sulphurous water, a natural healing spring.
Last but not least will be Montepulciano, where we will visit the oldest wineries in the world.
