The Accademia Gallery is a one of a kind gallery in Italy and reveals the genius of the great Florentine artist Buonarroti through his numerous sculptures, the most renowned being Michelangelo's statue of David.

Wheelchair accessible. Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Public transportation options are available nearby. Suitable for all physical fitness levels. On dates which museum entrance is free of charge, skip-the-line cannot be guaranteed. These dates are as follows: November 7-10, November 22, December 1, and December 8. Tour prices will be lowered accordingly for these occasions.. Pets are not allowed. Bring passport or ID card for children . Please note that there is no cloakroom. Luggage and large bags are not allowed. Water bottles are allowed if not exceeding 0.5 liters. Due to security reasons, access is subject to control by metal detectors. On the first Sunday of each month, entrance is free of charge, but as tickets can't be reserved ahead of time, entry is not guaranteed
