What To Expect
Enjoy a walk in the city of beauty discovering the majestic Duomo with its Dome built by Brunelleschi and discover with your guide step by step all the phases of its creation.
When it was built, Santa Maria del Fiore was the largest existing basilica with its 153 meters long and still today it impresses visitors with its majesty.
Giotto’s tower is the Cathedral Bell Tower and its construction is contemporary to the one of the church.
Visit to the Baptistery of Saint John, with its precious mosaics, and the Museum of the Cathedral preserving the original "Gate of Paradise" made by Ghiberti and one of the most touching Michelangelo's Pietá!
Then climb the famous Brunelleschi's Dome, not only a symbol of beauty, but also a magnificent sample of ingenuity and technical expertise.

Public transportation options are available nearby. Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. Please remember to bring all of your IDs. A double check will be done by the Duomo's staff. If names on tickets and those on the IDs won't match, access will not be allowed. Appropriate clothing is highly recommended. Please be aware that access to holy sites requires a strict dress code. Shoulders and knees have to be properly covered.. Visitors accessing the monuments, before entering, must MANDATORY leave inside the Luggage Storage suitcases, backpacks, parcels, containers large and medium-sized bags and other types of objects. Visitors who present themselves at the entrance with objects prohibited by the regulation will not be able to enter. Visitors are required to climb 463 steps ( if Dome option selected). No lifts (elevators) are available.. The climb is not recommended for people suffering from heart problems, vertigo, claustrophobia and for pregnant women
