The first prodouct that you will try is the typical Milanese bread called MICHETTA, with three cured meat (or an alterntive for vegetarian and vegan people. At the second stop you will test a milanese called MONDEGHILI.
Mondeghili are meatballs typical of Milanese gastronomy. They are prepared with a mixture of boiled meat, flavored with lemon zest and nutmeg, and are fried in foaming butter.
The last test you will do, it will be a kind of dessert: very milanese, born in a bar close to LA SCALA THEATRE: LA BARBAJADA. Domenico Barbaja invented this delicious drink which for years sweetened the palate of the Milanese and beyond: as often happens, it seems that by mistake he mixed coffee and cocoa with water and milk, making them foam slightly, and then filled them with a delicious cloud of cream mounted.
