What To Expect
Visit Milan’s Sforza Castle – one of the primary symbols of the city. Learn about its various transformations over the past few centuries on a 2-hour guided tour. The castle has been a defense fortress, a military barracks, a private residence, and the center of cultural institutions and museums.
Today the castle is home to museums of art, archives, and libraries. Hear history of the structure when it was under the rule of the Visconti and Sforza families, and about the last extraordinary restoration of the castle made by architect Luca Beltrami at the beginning of the twentieth century.
