This walking food tour is designed to experience some of the best food and wine in Milan, while discovering the two souls of this city: on the one side the old and traditional; and on the other the innovative, bustling and experimental. You will taste dishes coming from centuries-long traditions, such as the renowned Risotto alla Milanese; you will hear about the production of the famous Franciacorta wine while sipping it; but you will also explore hidden venues, gems known only to locals for the quality of their dishes. The best local specialities are paired with great wines. This is a journey between future and past, an incredibly tasty discovery of Milanese food walking through the most interesting boroughs of Milan.
The tour includes four food stops. First stop: wine and appetizers. Second stop: Risotto alla Milanese and pasta. Third stop: meat and cheese bites at the local market (only when open) or in alternative, cold cuts and cheese in a local restaurant. Last stop is dessert.
