Experience the thrill of ziplining through stunning scenery experienced by few, even the locals.

The river canyon, Glerárgil, is a hidden gem of nature splitting the town of Akureyri through the middle. We have made the protected area accessible with a thoughtfully designed trail and five ziplines, in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way.

Public transportation options are available nearby. Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Minimum age is 8 years. Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately. Weight limits: 30 - 120 kg (65 - 260 lbs) for safety reasons. Sturdy shoes with good grip recommended. Bring a hair tie for long hair. Must be able to walk on uneven paths, at a moderate pace, for up to 10 minutes at a time
