What To Expect
The Golden Circle is without a doubt the most popular combination of sites to visit in Iceland, including Geysir, Gullfoss and Þingvellir.
Your adventure will begin with the visit of Geysir, the famous hot spring that has given its name to all geysers around the world and is currently dormant. No worries, you will get to see its ¨brother¨ Strokkur who spouts water up to 30 meters high every few minutes.
Your next stop will be Gullfoss, popularly knowns as the ¨Golden Waterfall¨, one of the most famous waterfalls in Iceland due to its massive two-tiered falls that reach up to 32 meters in height. Þingvellir National Park will be your concluding destination, home to Iceland's first parliament and also where we can observe and walk between the separation of the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates.
