The Snaefellsnes peninsula, or Little Iceland as many like to call it, combines several of Iceland's most representative landscapes into one peninsula. This peninsula is well-known for the presence of Snaefellsjökull, the volcano through which Jules Verne takes his readers in his famous novel Journey to the Center of the Earth. Our journey will include visits to caves, white-sand beaches and basaltic cliffs in one of Iceland's most beautiful environments.
You will then venture on to Djúpalónssandur, a beach famous for its curious Viking tales that once lived in the area. Your final stop will be the picturesque and photo-worthy locations that are Kirkjufell mountain and Kirkjufellfoss waterfall.
