As we make our way to Þórsmörk from the Ring Road, prepare to cross rivers cascading down from the glaciers, showcasing the aftermath of the powerful and rapid flood caused by the eruption of Eyjafjallajökull in April 2010. Our journey continues to the picturesque Stakkholtsgjá canyon, featuring a waterfall where, if time and mood permit, we will go on a hike. Þórsmörk stands as one of the country's most renowned hiking areas, and standing atop its hills and mountains is a truly breathtaking experience.
