What To Expect
Amazing unique tour of combination of lava fields and geothermal landscapes.
Here you will begin your day by being picked up by the buggy operator and taken to their new headquarters and be briefed to go over safety instructions. You can even have a free cup of coffee at their base camp.
You will set your journey through lava fields and venture to Hellisheidi Geothermal power plant. The power plant provides electricity and hot water to the whole capital of Iceland Reykjavik. You will see the skiing mountains of Reykjavik called Blue Mountains. We will ascend to Hengill Mountain range and see a fantastic view through all the steams coming from all around the Geothermal power plant.

Important info
Not recommended for pregnant travelers. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. Pricing is per person based on 2 people riding in one buggy car. Children ages 6 and up are only permitted to ride as passengers in the buggy car. A full valid driver’s licence is required to drive the buggy car. Adult pricing applies to all travellers. A minimum of 2 adults per booking is required. No alcohol or drug tolerance is allowed on our tours. We have the right to breathalyze participants if our guides suspect a participant being under the influence and deny going on the tour. Again This is with your safety in mind. Participants showing up under the influence are not entitled to a refund.

All hotels in downtown Reykjavik are at a no pick up zone by the city.
Therefore you will need to walk to the nearest bus stop. It should be 2-5 minute walk from your hotel.
To choose what bus stop. Kindly check the voucher for the website and type in your hotel address and choose which bus stop you want to be picked from and please select one and let us know. If you don't know your pickup location please send us an email and we can help you.
You need to be ready at 09:00 or 13:00 - depending on what departure you book. The pick-up can take up to 30 min.
