What To Expect
Walk through the labyrinthine lanes of old city where the artists, who continue the traditional legacy of royal art for generations, still thrive. Discover the small-scale workshops used for making kites, threads, wooden utensils and Zardozi artwork. See how the beautiful Marble Inlay on the facade of the Taj comes to life, how the intricate golden wirework or Zari is done and how some of the most beautiful Mughal carpets are weaved by hand. You will be visiting the homes of these craftsmen and women, which is a very unique experience in its own. End the experience with either Kite flying or Chai from one of the rooftops and you just might also catch some breath-taking views if the Taj.
Meander through the narrow lanes and witness the busy vendors engaged in their regular trade. Let your expert tell you the origin of the different forms of handicrafts as you watch the artisans immersed in creating an elaborate and intricate piece of art or handicraft.
