Bidar was the capital of Bahamani Kingdom which was the first independent Islamic kingdom of South India. It is located about 140 Kms from Hyderabad which takes around 3.5 hours drive. It has a fort built by the Bahamani Kings when they shifted their capital from Gulbarga to here and 15th Century Madarasa built in the lines of Madrasas of Persia, Tombs of Early Islamic Kings of South India with beautiful glazed tiles and calligraphy. Bidar is also equally famous for an inlay art called as Bidri. By this tour you can see the most beautiful part of medieval time period with experienced licensed tour guides to enter and to explain in all the monuments.
