Visit the Kanheri Caves, a group of rock-cut Buddhist monuments located in lush forests on the outskirts of Mumbai. This caves is served the purpose of Buddhist centre of education, where the religious men used to deliver lectures on the religious texts and basic moral values that one should follow.
Mostly young generation like to visit this caves during monsoon season. waterfall offers a spectacular view in the monsoon season.
Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. Must carry cap or hat, trekking shoes or sport shoes

Private Vehicle is not allowed in National Park as it is under the control of the Forest Department. So we have to park our private vehicles at the Gate of Sanjay Gandhi National Park.
From the Gate, we have to take Public Bus or Public Van to go up to Kanheri caves.
