If you are coming from a flight then at the airport's arrival gate.
If you are coming by a cruise then pickup from the exit gate of the port, that is called the 'Green Gate'. If you are booking this tour & coming on a cruise ship, then it will not be a private tour, it will be a shared small group tour, because of less number of tour guides.
It will cost you additional INR 2000 for the pickup & drop if your hotel is at near the airport or pickup from the airport.
