What To Expect
Originally called by shepherds ' Gaurimarg,' its current name was given in the seventeenth century by Sultan Yusuf Shah, who was awakened to see his lush slants exaggerated with exotic flowers. Gulmarg was Emperor Jehangir's most loved frequent who once gathered from here 21 different assortments of blooms.
Although Gulmarg is already a-climate resort of refreshing season woodlands and tranquil scenes to keep the camera occupied, long-run winter sports are the key reason for coming here, at least in snow.
