On this half-day walking tour of Old Delhi discover some of the colorful bazaars, visit temples and gurudwaras and get a glimpse into the daily lives of its inhabitants. To date, this part of Delhi retains the character of the Mughal era. It was founded in 1639 when the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan shifted his capital from Agra to Delhi. In its heydays, the streets were flanked with mansions of the rich nobles of the Mughal court. Today much of the past lustre has faded away but what remains still gives a vivid idea of the magnificent past.
