What To Expect
On this day excursion from Delhi, visit Vrindavan and Mathura, the land of the Hindu God Krishna. Mathura is considered to be the birthplace of Krishna while he is said to have spent his childhood in the neighbouring town of Vrindavan. Mathura is one of the seven most holy places for Hindus in India. Vrindavan is the site where Krishna played and danced with the maidens of the town. Cover both these holy towns on the same day. On the way back to Delhi, stop at the beautiful Akshardham Temple that has some of the most delicate carvings to be found in a modern day temple.

Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops are allowed. Knees and shoulders must be covered for both men and women. Shoes must be taken off before entering temples. Socks are fine, you can keep wearing them.. A moderate amount of walking is involved please wear comfortable shoes..
