What To Expect

Avoid morning crowds and join us on this late afternoon 1,5-hour tour, where in a small group of participants you will explore Diocletian’s Palace on foot: the UNESCO-listed, Roman–era landmark now forms the heart of the city. We will discover together how the palace of a Roman Emperor called Diocletian, became a heart of today's Split, the second largest city in Croatia. We will explore the remains of Diocletian's Palace, walk through its architectural history and visit different areas of the complex and its surroundings, known today as Old Town of Split. While wandering through its narrow streets, you will also see the most important monuments that Split has to offer, like Gregory of Nin with its famous golden toe, and the father of Croatian literature called Marko Marulić. After the walking tour we will refresh ourselves in one of the Split’s top craft beer destinations: a boundary-pushing pub and microbrewery that brews its own beer
