Treat yourself the way Roman emperors did, with amazing dishes served at their elaborate feasts.
Join our Food and History tour and where we take you to three different places within a 1700-year old imperial palace to taste the most exquisite local food. Explore the palace of Diocletian and pair each new place you otherwise might've missed with a unique Dalmatian flavor!
We start our adventure with a short walk through the center of the palace, on our way to a restaurant known for its handmade makaruni. This delicacy pairs all too well with the local wines of southern Croatia. You will also be presented with the Dalmatian plate of carefully selected prosciutto and cheese, followed up by the authentic UNESCO-recognized soparnik pie.
Did you know that the Mediterranean diet has been part of the UNESCO heritage list since 2013?
