Some of Santorini's best sights are lined up in this afternoon trip which includes the ancient village of Mesa Gonia, Pyrgos at the highest point on the island and beautiful Oia – one of the most photographed places in Greece.
First up is Mesa Gonia. This tiny village is the oldest on the island and is surrounded by vineyards. From there, you'll drive to Pyrgos, Santorini's former capital. This pretty place is all sugar-cube houses, neo-classical mansions and narrow lanes twisting up to a Venetian castle, which offers up fabulous island views.
Afterwards, you'll get to sample some local wines at a winery before heading for Santorini's star turn – Oia. Perched on a clifftop, this hip-and-happening whitewashed village serves up amazing views over the caldera, making it the perfect spot to catch a blazing Greek sunset. It's spectacular stuff.
