This workshop is a hands-on experience for any visitor interested in getting to know, in a simple and pleasant way, the use of gypsum in Greek architecture and buildings' decoration. It is based on the contact with this material and the participant's creativity. Also, the participant will get to learn the historical reference to the application of gypsum in the mansions and neoclassical buildings of Samos Island, through audiovisual documents, as well as the knowledge about the stages of processing and production of the material.45 years of history and experience in the processing and manufacture of plaster objects come to life through this specially designed training course.The workshop aims for the participant to create a collaborative relationship with the instructors, through the transmission of information and the transfer of knowledge, in order to upgrade their educational knowledge, and get ready to walk the "Path of the Gypsum Craftsman".The program has 5 levels of difficulty. It has been designed in such a way that participants, through an evolutionary process, upgrade their knowledge of gypsum processing. The participant can choose whether to participate in all difficulty levels.
