If you are in Athens, explored the city and the Acropolis and want to find out what there is to see outside of the city then consider this amazing tour that is off the usual path.
First a nice relaxing swim in the thermal water of Lake Vouliagmeni. Then a beautiful coastal drive to the ancient silver mines of Lavrion.
You will see the actual ancient industrial site where you will learn the process of extracting the silver in ancient times and a visit to the small but interesting museum of Lavrion. Also, a visit to one of the most beautiful ancient Greek temples with an amazing landscape and breathtaking views. The temple of Poseidon overlooking the Aegean Sea. Time can be arranged so you get to view the sunset also, from the temple.
