What To Expect

Our journey starts with the ride towards western Greece and the field of the famous battle of Thermopylae. There we will find the monument and the statue of king Leonidas of Sparta, hero of that battle and then leader of the Greek army against the invading armies of the also famous Xerxes, Persian king of almost the whole known world at the time. We will also visit the near by lying hill of Colonus where we will see the last stand of the famous 300 spartans and their grave.
The next stop will be our main site. The archaeological marvel of the temple-oracle of god Apollo in the ancient city of Delphi that surrounds the temple. This city was the so called center of the ancient world, religiously and culturally. A city that has been visited by all the famous and important people of the world.
Almost the whole life and scenery of western Greece comes around Delphi. Very close is our next stop, the ancient but also modern city of Levadia, a city of waterfalls, center of the Greek cuisine.
