What To Expect
In this one-day tour, you will visit Mtskheta – the ancient capital of Georgian kings. You will the amazing beauty of the architecture of such ancient monasteries as Jvari Church and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. They are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Our tailor-made tour will continue to the ancient city of Uplistsikhe. Explore caves and rocky chambers once used for pagan worship in the medieval settlement.
You will also go to one of the oldest settlements in Georgia and end your journey in Gori. Here is the hometown of Joseph Stalin. Here you can visit the museum opened in his honour and learn the life story of one of the Soviet dictators.

Specialized infant seats are available. Public transportation options are available nearby. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements.
