Starting from London, travel across the English Channel and onwards into Belgium to discover the wonders of Bruges, a city famous for its romantic beauty which really comes to life at Christmas!After crossing the English channel, either on the Eurotunnel or by ferry, you'll arrive in Calais and continue the journey by coach through France, until you arrive in the beautiful Bruges in Belgium. On arrival, your tour manager will walk with you to Bruges' town square and you can begin wandering around the gorgeous Christmas Market stalls. You'll be able to spot the famous Belfry (Bell Tower) of this iconic city, and marvel at the colorful traditional buildings, many of which are cafes and restaurants. You'll have the rest of the day as free time so you can explore Bruges independently.You might want to enjoy a Belgian beer and 'frites' (french fries), try a delicious Belgian waffle, see the city from a boat on the canal or do some shopping before boarding travelling back to London.
